Judy H. Thompson

Judy Thompson, 62, of San Angelo, TX, passed away on August 24, 2016 in Dallas, TX surrounded by her children. Judy was born in Littlefield, TX on April 8, 1954. She graduated from Central High School and attended Angelo State University. Judy focused on finance/accounting throughout her career and was employed at Knox Oil Supply upon her death. Judy had a beautiful, infectious smile that could brighten up any room she walked into. She was humble, kind, compassionate, brave and had an inviting soul you could talk to about anything. Somehow when you left a conversation with Judy, your day was always brighter and you could breathe a little easier! She lived her life with an unconditional love that could only be described as a gift from God. Judy is survived by her two siblings, Linda Russell of San Angelo, TX and Emmett Hurt of Pagosa Springs, CO; her daughter Jennifer Hill and husband Chris Hill of San Angelo; her son Stacey Thompson and wife Jamie Thompson of San Angelo; five precious grandchildren Jarrett, Clayton, Jett, Garrett, and Chaney all of San Angelo; as well as many close family friends and relatives who adored her. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Ruth Mitchell, and an extra special Aunt & Uncle, Willard & Dema Loman of Paul's Valley, OK, who helped raised her. A Memorial Service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00am at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
