Life Legacy
Mary Ann Jordan Kropp, 69, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday July 21, 2011, at her residence surrounded by family.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday July 25, 2011, at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday July 26, 2011, at the Probandt Family Ranch. The Rev. Kary Fry of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Mary Ann’s ashes will be scattered on the family ranch.
Mary Ann was born January 31, 1942, to Douglas Ware and Emma Belle (Hutton) Brown in Farmington, New Mexico.
She worked at the First National Bank of Sterling City and Stanton. She was the office manager at T. J. Warren Telephone Company for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vonnie Purcella.
Survivors include daughters; Trish Probandt and husband, Victor of San Angelo; Marcy Blanek of Houston; sons; Doyle Jordan Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Raleigh - Durham, NC; and Eddie Jordan and wife, Kim of San Angelo; three sisters, Wickie Crawford of Austin, TX; Jean Heath and husband, Rodney of Farmington, NM; and Cokie Birdsong and husband, Jim of El Centro, CA.; a brother, Douglas Ware Brown Jr. (Sonny) from Aztec, NM; and a brother in law, Joe Purcella of Arvada, CO; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank doctors, nurses and staff of Hospice of San Angelo. Also Dr. Rahman and Melanie and the in-home caregivers, Diana, Velma, Monica and the rest of the staff that cared so lovingly for her in her last days.
