Annie Louise Schkade

Annie Louise Wolf Schkade, known to her family as Cammaw never knew a stranger. She loved to talk and visit with people but also found pleasure in her own company.
Viewing will start at 8:00 am on Monday, July 9, 2012 with the family present from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Tom Baden, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Salvador Govea, Fred Schumann, Charles Schkade, Lester Sizemore, Christopher Schkade, and Jimmy White.

Annie was born to Otto Wolf and Clara (Hopper) Wolf on December 19, 1919 at Elgin, Texas. She was 92 years old when she went to be with her Lord. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Annie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in San Angelo, Texas for many years until she moved to Del Rio. She married Henry Estel Schkade on January 15, 1939 at Pastor Elmo Mietschin's home in Eola, Texas.
Annie worked at Gausmeiser's Variety Store in Eola, managed Milton Rick's Apartments and rent houses in Del Rio, Texas and worked for Trinity Lutheran Church School of San Angelo as the lunchroom manager for eight years.
Survivors are her son, Charles W. Schkade and wife Pamela of Del Rio, Texas; granddaughter Cami Schkade Cappuccio of Newport News, Virginia; grandson Christopher Schkade of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by great grandson Anthony Cappuccio, great granddaughters Kristyn Cappuccio and Tommie Morris and a great great grandson Michael Kearns all of Newport News, Virginia, as well as, her favorite sister-in-law Aileen Schkade of Eola, Texas and special friends close to her heart Salvador, Alice and Crystal Govea.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Estel Schkade and her parents Otto and Clara Wolf.
