Adelfina Pedroza Martinez

Adelfina Pedroza Martinez, 90 of San Angelo went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 19, 2013 surrounded by her family. Vigil services will be 7:00pm Thursday June 20, 2013 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday June 21, 2013 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Daniel Olivan of Segunda Iglesia Bautista, officiating. Burial will follow at Mereta Eola Cemetery. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Adelfina was born June 17, 1923 in Waco, Texas to Nolberto and Elena (Arredondo) Pedroza. She married Anastacio Martinez in Eola, TX on August 15, 1938. They shared 59 wonderful years together until his passing on October 9, 1997. Pallbearers will be Alfredo P. Martinez, Santiago P. Martinez, Alejando P. Martinez, Santos C. Deanda, David Martinez and Erick M. Ybarra. She is preceded in death by her husband and four children; Florentina, Raul, Erlinda and Esperanza, and 4 brothers. Survivors include three sons; Alfredo P. Martinez of San Angelo, Santiago P. Martinez and wife, Regina of Austin, Alejandro P. Martinez and Virginia Santiago of Grape Creek, three daughters; Belia M. Deanda and husband, Santos, Carmel P. Martinez, Esther M. Ybarra and husband, Erick, all of San Angelo, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, a brother; Jesse Pedroza and wife, Agosta of West Minister, TX, two sisters; Asusana Caldera of San Angelo and Elaine Charis of Fresno, CA. The family wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice doctors, nurses and staff for the loving care shown to our family.
