Adelina Vigil Aguirre, 77, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family San Angelo, TX. Viewing will be 10:00am - 8:00 pm Saturday September 20, 2014 with the family being there from 5:00pm to 7:00pm to receive friends at Robert Massie Funeral Home, San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Sunday September 21, 2014 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Ruben Ramirez of Celebration Church, officiating. Private family burial of the ashes will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. She was born on September 23, 1936 to Severo and Julia Vigil (Gomez) Perez in San Angelo, TX. Adelina worked at Barry's of San Angelo. On December 13, 1950 she married Ernesto Aguirre in San Angelo, Texas. Adelina is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Baca and husband, Pete, Elsa Gonzales and husband, Jesse, Christina Lucio and husband, Jerry; three sons, Donald Aguirre, Larry Aguirre and wife, Olivia all of San Angelo and Manual Aguirre and wife, Kimberly of Olympia, WA; two sisters, Elida Ruiz and husband, Frank of San Angelo, Catherine Hernandez and husband, Johnny of Abilene; two brothers, Johnny Vigil and wife, Adela and Richard Bejil all of San Angelo; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father, Severo Vigil, mother, Julia Vigil Perez, husband, Ernesto Aguirre, sister, Ignacia Caberra; daughter in law, Sandy Aguirre and sister in law, Stella Bejil.
