Albert Bartholomeo

Albert Bartholomeo, of San Angelo, passed away on January 12, 2019. Albert was born on March 10,1932 to Frank and Mabel Bartholomeo in Brooklyn, New York to a very close-knit Italian family. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters all deceased. He was married to the love of his life June Bartholomeo on January 19, 1952 for 55 years before she passed away in 2007. In 1961 he moved his family to Oakdale Long Island where he would raise his family until his retirement in 1995 when he moved to San Angelo, Texas to live near his son Frank . He worked for the State of New York for 33 years as a painter had many friends and family Al was always the life of any party. His last few years he lived at Royal Estates Independent living and became an ambassador welcoming all new residents, he always enjoyed meeting new people and making friends . I want to thank all the staff at Royal Estates ( Lyndale) and Encompass Home Health, my Dad truly loved all of them and especially Kim and Ginny at Lyndale and Amanda and Kim at Encompass who have been there for him and our family over the past 4 years. He was preceded in death by his wife June and his daughter Valerie Bartholomeo, grandson, Robert Bartholomeo. He is survived by his son Frank Bartholomeo and wife Kay, daughters Christine Duffy and Diane Bartholomeo and son Steven Bartholomeo. Eight grandchildren, Rusty, Nicolas, Dennis, June, Nicole, Shannon, Michael and Joseph and eight great grandchildren, Abby Bartholomeo, Bailey Bartholomeo, Francis Mathieu Bartholomeo, Jacob and Robert. Viewing will be 12:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 10:00am January 16, 2019 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Chaplain Zane Miller of Lyndale Senior Living, officiating.
