ALFONSO CALLES

Alfonso G. Calles, 95, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2005 in a local hospital. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the 7th Day Adventist Church. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Alfonso was born October 19, 1909 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Mr. and Mrs. Consuelo Zaragosa. He was a very ambitious man, always applying himself with his education. While in Mexico, he worked at the Federal Building of Piedras Negras and the Post Office. When he moved to San Angelo, he worked as an operating room technician at St. John's for thirty years. He will be missed by his family and friends.
