Almeta Kay "Kay Kay" Cook, 58, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019, in Big Lake. Memorial Services will be Friday, January 11, 2019, at Hope in Christ Cowboy Church with Pastor Leslie Davidson, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo. Mrs. Cook was born August 6, 1960 in Grayson County to Jasper and Virginia Posey. She was a 1978 graduate of Weletka High School. Kay Kay was a resident of Big Lake for five years moving from Yuma, Arizona. She worked as a foster grandmother for the Reagan County Head Start for two years. Kay Kay was a member of the Hope in Chris Cowboy Church. She loved children very much and was considered a mother to all. Survivors include her son, Jared Manry and fiance Carley Jackson of Big Lake; three grandsons, Malachi, Sean and Jeremiah; a brother, David Posey and wife Rita of Oklahoma; two sisters, Vanita Posey of Oklahoma and Damita Posey of Albuquerque, New Mexico; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
