Amelia Garza

Amelia Garza, 59 of Abilene went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday June 14, 2011 at her residence. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Thursday June 16, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Friday June 17, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Emilio Sosa, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Amelia was born July 13, 1951 in San Angelo to Enrique and Brunilda (Rodriguez) Garza. She lived in San Angelo until 2006 when she moved to Abilene to live with Della and Joe. She loved spending time with "the girls", her sisters, eating out and dancing. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Yolanda Gatzka and a nephew Ricardo Torres. Survivors include; Sisters, Oralia Fernandez and husband, Sam, Rachel Zapata, Leticia Perez all of San Angelo, Mary Fernandez and husband, Robert of San Diego, CA and Adelita (Della) Morales and husband, Joe of Abilene and Brune Torres and husband, Ricardo of Midland and one brother, Enrique Garza Jr. of San Angelo, numerous nieces and nephews and her BFF, Klarissa Morales of Abilene
