Amelia H (Hernandez) Reyes

Amelia H. Reyes, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will begin at 9:00 AM Tuesday with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020. at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reyes was born June 29, 1938, in San Angelo to Simon and Jovita Hernandez. Amelia was a lifelong resident of San Angelo. She married Vivian R. Reyes on August 23, 1954, in Clovis New Mexico. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2013. Amelia was a homemaker. She was a member of the House of Restoration where she was a deacon. Amelia was a former member and deacon of Central Evangelistico Pentecost Church. She was very active in the work of the church. Amilia love to spend time with family and loved ones.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Reyes of San Angelo; her son, Gordo Reyes of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren, Tito Reyes, Osvaldo Martinez, Jessie Martinez, Alexandra Reyes, Jazmine Reyes, Mykayla Reyes, Isaac Reyes, Ariel Reyes, Isaiah Reyes, and Elijah Reyes; eight great grandchildren, Angel, Celeste, Victoria, Christian, Levi, Esai, Esabella, and Esamuel; a great-great grandson, Casen. Amelia was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alexandra G. Martinez on March 23, 1993.
