It is with a heavy heart that the family of Angel Tobias, 27, share that he passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in San Angelo, TX
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel where a Celebration of Life ceremony will commence at 6:00 PM. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 20, 2022, at Bronte Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Reception to follow at La Plaza de Rey, 304 W Washington Dr, San Angelo, Texas 76903.
Mr. Tobias was born May 31,1995 and raised in San Angelo. Angel will be remembered for his unconventional and eccentric personality along with his nurturing heart. While growing up Angel was highly involved in activities with The House of Faith, setting the foundation for his spiritual guidance throughout life. Activities included camping trips, bible studies, and Wednesday school. Angel attended Lake View High School graduating in 2013. During high school Angel participated in band where he cultivated his love for music. After graduating high school, he was not only able to join the U.S. Naval Services but also advance and thrive while in bootcamp, basic training, and finishing school. Angel graduated top of his class completing training in Illinois and California. While on leave, during the pandemic, Angel was finally given the opportunity to marry Christopher Lozano during his transition to his final duty station, at Oceana Naval Air Station, Virginia Beach, VA. Amongst his many achievements, Angel acquired his Associate's Degree while serving in the US Navy. Angel was known as a people person he really loved helping others and getting to know them.
Angel will be lovingly remembered by his husband, Christopher Lozano and will live on through CB & Little Bear; his parents, Bernardino, Amanda, Shari & Yolanda Torres & Lozano; his grandparents, Maria Molina, Juan & Christina Tapia; his siblings, Santos, Devon, Jose-Angel, & Victor; his cousins, Marco, Timothy, Eric, Erin, Robert, Gregory, Anthony, Justin, Estephanie; and numerous other beloved relatives.
