Ann Therese Sanderson, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. All family and friends are invited to attend. Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Charles Greenwell officiating. Burial will follow in Knickerbocker Community Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Ann was mother and grandmother to all who came into her life. Family was the most important thing to her. She was born on April 26, 1927 to Joseph and Mary Kelly in Detroit, MI into an Irish Catholic Family of 13 children. Ann married the love of her life, Chet Sanderson, on June 5, 1948. They were married for 63 years. They loved to travel together, bowl and play cards. She loved watching Rangers baseball. She was an excellent seamstress and most recently she became an avid Mahjong player. Most especially, Ann loved going to Las Vegas, playing blackjack and pulling the arm of the one-armed bandit! Ann is survived by her son, Tom Sanderson and wife, Kate of San Angelo; daughter Teri Meyer of San Angelo; brothers Daniel Kelly, John Kelly, Jerry Kelly and Robert Kelly; grandchildren Eric, Vanessa and Timothy Meyer; great-grandchildren Audree, Abigail and Jacob Meyer along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Holy Angels Catholic Church.
