Anna Cooper-Wallace, age 64, passed away on January 25, 2017 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Robert Massie Funeral Home 402 Rio Concho Drive, San Angelo, Texas. Anna was born in Grundy, Virginia to Dempsey and Lula Branham on September 21, 1952. She attended high school in Palatka, Florida. She was proud to spend her life as a nurse, serving her patients and their families. Her career allowed her to care for many different patients in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas. Her heart was filled with compassion for her patients in long-term care and special needs and she always had a caring touch. She is survived by her spouse, Kenneth Wallace of Haskell, Texas, her daughter Jenni Price-Fierro and Albert Fierro of San Angelo, Texas, her son John Scot Cooper and Katie Cooper of Carlsbad, Texas, her son Timothy Cooper and Kristin Cooper of Bellevue, Nebraska, her grandchildren Julianna Price, William Price, Sophie Cooper, Martigan Cooper, and Finley Cooper. Her family was very important to her and she never missed an opportunity to spoil her grandchildren. The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the nurses and physicians of San Angelo Community Medical Center and Dr. Peter Chang for the diligence and care they provided during her months of illness and the physicians and nurses of Hendrick Medical Center for the compassion and care they provided in her last days.
