Anne N. Ault

Anne N. Ault, 97, of San Angelo, passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at a local care center. Visitation will be held 10am to 8pm Friday August 14, 2015 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 Saturday August 15, 2015 at Sherwood Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. She was born on February 25, 1918 to Robert Lee and Tommie (Cathy) Haskins in Vernon, TX. She attended school at Vernon High School and Midwestern and Tulane universities. Anne took care of her sisters and brothers in her younger days and then married her first husband, JW Nelson and they ran the Nelson's Clothing Stores for many years. In January of 1981 she married her second husband, Sam Ault and they shared 26 years together until his passing in 2007. Anne loved her animals and was instrumental in forming the local Polio Foundation. Her great and great great grandchildren were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by parents, son, David Mars Nelson, daughter, Janice Anne Nelson, son, James D. Nelson and her 3 brothers and 4 sisters , a great grandson Michael Brown. Anne is survived by her son, Ike (Maggie) Ault of San Angelo, grandson, Dr. David Nelson of Bee Cave, TX, grandson, James W. Nelson and Lori Lopez of San Angelo, grandson, Aaron (Holly) Nelson of San Angelo, grandson, Michael (Barbara) Nelson of San Francisco, CA, granddaughter, Tammy (Mike) Johnson of Houston, TX, grandson, Brent Ault of Comfort, TX, granddaughter, Sabrina (Lon) Webster of Ft. Worth, granddaughter, Amber (Andrew) Jens of Ruston, VA. and many great and great great grandchildren and a very special family friend, Ronnie Marecek. The family wants to extend a special thanks to Dr. Yang-Kim, Dr. Chang, Veronica, Jenni, Brad, Rene, Minni, Marisa and countless friends and family who have been there in our time of need and for prayer.
