Antonia Canaba Zapata began her life's journey on January 17, 1929, born to Margarito and Gila Canaba. On October 21, 2017 our Lord called her home while surrounded by her loving family. Antonia unconditionally dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her selfless nature molded those around her to always strive for excellence. Antonia and Demetrio shared sixty wonderful years together. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, David Zapata, husband, and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her legacy, of unwavering daughters, Lupe Rangel and husband Art; Yolanda Garza and husband Marciano; Mary Ellen Zapata; and Diana Cantu; and brothers Margarito and Eusebio Canaba. Her grandchildren are David Zapata, Dolores Zapata; Luigi Gallicchio and fiancee´ Chloe Yates; Marciano Garza III and wife Tomi; Bianca Terrazas and husband Michael; Elizabeth Flores; Andree´ Jackson and husband Bevie; Angelica Zapata; Jacob Rangel and wife Jacy; Michael Garza; and Arianna Cantu. Great -grandchildren are : Natalie and Jasmine Booker; Alexis Gerhardt; Romeo Serrano; Noah, Ian, Lila, and Esai Garza; Christian Terrazas; Jaeden Rangel; Astrid, Cora, and Cosimo. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. The Zapata family wishes to thank Betty Martinez, Sandra Rodriguez, Edna Castorena, Intrepid Home Health, San Angelo First Responders, and her Shannon Hospital ICU nurses for the caring and professional care they showed our beautiful mother.
