ARLEE E. OWEN

Arlee Elizabeth Harrison Owen, age 92, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Brother Don McWilliams officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arlee was born on January 7, 1914, to Albert Cooper Harrison and Ira Kate Weaver Harrison in Elgin, Texas. She married Arlie Owen on December 21, 1933 in Lee County. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1993. Arlee was a woman of Christian values, known as mam-maw to her in-laws and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike. Arlee was preceded in death by her son; Milton Owen, great-grandson; Jody Davidson, great-granddaughter; Mandy McClain, seven brothers and sisters; sons-in-law; Jim Wilhite and Barney Hudson. Arlee is survived by her son; Clyde Owen and wife, Brenda, daughters; Ladelle Hudson and Virginia Wilhite all of San Angelo, sister; Lena Belle Greer and husband, Jimmy of Hutto, TX, daughter-in-law Cleo Owen of San Angelo, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons. Memorials may be given to Baptist Memorial Hospice.
