Arnold E. Schneemann

Arnold E. Schneemann, Jr, of San Angelo, Texas passed away peacefully on February 18, 2014 in San Angelo, Texas at the age of 79 years old. A family visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Private family services will be at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, arranged by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Arnold was born in San Angelo, Texas to Arnold E. Schneemann, Sr. and Elizabeth Brady Schneemann on July 1, 1934. He went to school in San Angelo and graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi and Masonic Lodge #570. He was the third generation owner of H. Schneemann Insurance Co. He was also involved in Jay Cees, Downtown Lions Club where he was co-manager and manger of the concessions at the San Angelo Fairgrounds for 45 years. He was Lion of the Year 3 times and a lifetime member of the San Angelo Rodeo Association. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold E. Schneemann, Sr. and Elizabeth Brady Schneemann. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Julia Tatum Schneemann and his children Karin, her husband Michael D. Landers, Anthony (Tony), his wife Tracy, Andrew and his wife Debby. He is also survived by one granddaughter Savannah, four grandsons Anthony Jr., Greg, Garrett and Kyle. Memorials may be given to Meals for the Elderly or your favorite charity.
