Arthur G. Hernandez, 60 of San Angelo passed away Monday August 22, 2011 at an area care center. Prayer Service will be 6:00 PM Tuesday August 23, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Franco of Templo Calvario, officiating. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday August 24, 2011 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Juan Rivera of Hosanna Christian Center and with Pastor Alex Tenorio of House of Restoration, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Arthur was born September 11, 1950 in San Angelo to Louis A. and Maria (Garcia) Hernandez. Arthur worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years at Reece Albert, Sidel, Price construction companies Pallbearers are Simon Hernandez, Leandro Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, Osbaldo Martinez, Tito Reyes, David Ubando, Tony Fuentes and Danny Fuentes He is preceded in death by his daughter; Virginia Serrano and a brother, George Hernandez Survivors include two daughters; Veronica Soto and husband, Luis and Stacey Hernandez; a son, Demas Hernandez and wife, Amy, five grandchildren; his parents, Louis A. Hernandez and wife, Maria; a sister, Sylvia Reyes and two brothers, Luis Hernandez Jr. and Robert Hernandez and wife, Grace all of San Angelo. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of San Angelo and to the Shannon 5th floor doctors, nurses and staff for the special care given to Arthur and our family.
