Arthur Monroe Ussery

Arthur Monroe Ussery, 74, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at a local hospital. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 8a.m. to 8p.m. at Robert Massie Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Brother Carl Chambliss officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Arthur was born on December 1, 1938 in Eldorado, TX to Phelan and Frances (Jones) Ussery. He worked as a truck driver and for Wal-Mart. We truly hope you'll remember his big hearty laugh and his million watt smile. Arthur was preceded in death by his father Phelan (Jack) Ussery, mother Frances Tyre, step-dad Norman Tyre and his daughter Yvonne Ussery Gautier. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Merline Miller Ussery, sons Dion Ussery and Edwin Miller, sister Mary Ussery Chappell, grandsons Greg Ussery, Drayden Miller granddaughters Jacquelyn Franklin, Isabella Gomez, Faith Mitchell and other grandchildren, nephews Arthur Chambliss and Carl Chambliss, sisters-in-law Peaches Cobb, Janie Wheeler, Vera Smith, Margauerite Miller, special cousins Abbie Ussery, Essie Easley, a very dear friend Glisper Smith along with numerous relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed by all his family, his Wal-Mart family and customers.
