Arturo Andrade

Arturo "Art" Andrade, 64, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

There will be a viewing at the cemetery from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Grape Creek Cemetery with Pastor Chad Davenport, pastor of Grape Creek Baptist Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Andrade was born May 25, 1959 in Mexico. He was a resident of Carlsbad, New Mexico. He owned and operated Chinahand Martial Arts and will be remembered for his dedication of training many students in self-defense and private security work. He will be remembered by his family as a good father, and he left an impression on all of them. Art liked watching western and army movies, being outdoors, working leather, blade smithing, and being with his dogs. Art had many talents and taught many skills.

Survivors include the mother of his four children, Maria Andrade Miller; his two daughters, Angelina Andrade, and Sarah Andrade Pineda; his three sons, Arturo Andrade, Jr., Nathaniel Andrade, and Arturo Andrade. III; and his 11 grandchildren, Antino, Jade, Cameron, Dante, Evan, Lillianne, Brianna, Nevaeh, Andrianna, Declan, and Alia.
