Ascencio Guerra Constancio

Ascencio (Junior) Constancio, of San Angelo, passed away on October 22, 2018. Junior was born in Sterling City, Texas to Ascencio V. and Julia Guerra Constancio, on September 10, 1965. He is preceded in death by his father, Ascencio. In his youth Junior worked at the Reed Ranch in Sterling City alongside his father. He also worked at GAFB housing in maintenance and in later years worked alongside his brother in the concrete construction business. Junior was an artist at heart expressing his creativity through his drawings and wood work. Junior never met a stranger and surrounded himself with many friends. Junior considered his friends his extended family and would never hesitate to give wholeheartedly, whatever their need. Junior was also strong-willed and marched to the beat of his own drum, never a follower, always the leader. Junior is survived by his daughters, Ashley and husband John Davis of Ingleside, Texas and Erica Martinez of San Angelo and seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother, Julia Guerra Constancio, his brother, Arturo and wife Leonor Constancio, his sisters, Marlen and husband Severo Soto and Marisol and husband Martin Hernandez, two nephews and three nieces all of San Angelo. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, October 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow with a private ceremony at a later date. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
