Aubrey Louis Watson

Aubrey Louis Watson, 79, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Shannon Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia (Rushing) Watson, and three children, Jimmy (Annie) Watson of St. Louis, MO, Debra (Ron) Ledbetter of San Angelo, TX, and Jeffrey (Kelly) Watson of Denton, TX, fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, and many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two step-stepsisters. Louis served in the United States Navy from 1956-1959. He and his wife owned and operated Watson's Grocery in Sterling City from 1970-2003. He was an avid ballplayer, golfer, and bow hunter. In his past-time he loved playing dominoes, cards, and poker, reading and watching old westerns, and eating hamburger steaks. Visitation is at Robert Massie Funeral Home on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.. Graveside service will be held at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m.. His sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Life Church (TLC) missions, Meals for the Elderly, or a charity of your choice.
