BARBARA NELL LAWRENCE

Barbara Nell Lawrence, 73, passed away December 30, 2005 to join her Lord and Savior. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tony Garcia of Calvary Chapel officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. She was born September 3, 1932 in Happy, Texas, to parents Norman Augusts and Doshie Pearl Lusby. She graduated from Post High School. Barbara married Joseph C. Lawrence on October 10, 1965 in San Angelo, Texas. She was self-employed as a Beautician early in her life; she also worked as a Teachers Aide at Wall High School. In the later years, she was a homemaker and loved to cook and spoil her grandchildren. Better known to her family as Maw Maw, she loved her six grandchildren, Marty Pennell of San Antonio, Jason Pennell of San Antonio, Nicole Mihauser of Water Valley, Justin Lawrence of Lubbock, Dustin Huff of San Diego, California, Christopher Austin Lawrence of San Angelo and five great-grandchildren. Maw Maw loved Life and everyone she ever met. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister Patsy Rene Lusby. Survivors include a sister Linda Jones of San Angelo, a brother Larry Lusby of Ballinger, a sister Dana St. Clair of Iraan, a daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Johnny Pennell of San Angelo, a son and daughter-in-law Sandy and Shirley Lawrence of San Angelo.
