Barbara Jean Willson

Barbara Jean Willson, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in San Angelo, TX. Barbara was born in Merkel to Dewey and Freda (Kensey) Whisenhunt on July 25, 1944. She married James Willson Sr. on March 7, 1962 in Merkel.She worked for Wal-Mart for 21 years. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and two sons and a brother, Jimmy Whisenhunt. Pallbearers are Roy Stanley, Rickey Rogers, Randy Blackwood, Greg Klippas, Jerry Phrisner and Mickey West. Barbara is survived by husband, James Willson Sr. son, Wesley Willson and wife,Diane; daughter, Myjinda Gilpin; grandchildren, Lance Willson and wife, Maylee, Clay Willson and wife, Teal, Joshua Willson, Jessica Neal, Nikolas Willson and Stephen Gilpin and a great granddaughter, Lillian Willson. Siblings are Johnny Whisenhunt, Jackie Whisenhunt and wife, Janet. Family visitation is 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday August 13, 2018 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Allan C. Eckert, officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm at Drummond Cemetery in View, TX.. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home.
