Beatrice Garza Escobar

Beatrice Garza Escobar, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at her home surrounded by family. No Services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Escobar was born November 25, 1936, in Corpus Christi. She was a nurses aid for Lubbock Hospitality for 20 years, before moving to San Angelo in 1989. Beatrice married Juan Escobar in 1981. She will be missed by her family who lovingly called her "Maw", and "Grandma". Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Juan; her two sons, John Barron of Lubbock, and Roy Barron of San Angelo; her two daughters, Rosie Hyatt and husband Richard of San Antonio, and Renee Barron of San Angelo; her brother, Toby Garza and wife Sylvia of Corpus Christi; her two sisters, Oralia Rodriguez, and Mary Ann Hernandez and husband Manuel all of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren, Eric Hyatt and Terry Barron; and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Toribio and Delfina Garza.
