BENNIE "BILBO" L. ENGLAND

Bennie "Bilbo" L. England, 86, of San Angelo, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007 in a local hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 16, 2007 at the Antioch First Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Bilbo was born September 6, 1921 in Cameron, Texas to Garfield and Ollie England. He married Gracie White on December 20, 1967 in San Angelo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. Survivors are his wife, Gracie England of San Angelo; daughters Glenda Hicks and husband, Michael; Bonita Hutton and husband, John all of San Angelo; Gail Williams of Midlothian, Texas; Judith Hutchinson of Irving, Texas; Patricia Perryman and Ottway of Donna, Texas; son Hubert Parker Jr of San Angelo, Texas; brothers Versal Bilbo of San Angelo, Texas and Jerry Phillips of Lubbock, Texas; one sister Sonorias Rodgers of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and friend Carl Green, who was like a son. Pallbearers will be Johnny Jackson, Willie Shields, Freeman Sampson, Carl Green, Tony Owens and Charles Thomas.
