Bennie Meek

Bennie Sue Meek, 97, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home surrounded by her sons.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Toomire, pastor at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, officiating, under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Meek was born February 12, 1927 in Sadler. Bennie married Roy H. Meek on April 11, 1948 in Pecos. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1975. Bennie has been a resident of San Angelo since December 1, 1991. She was a secretary at Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Cosolidated ISD for 23 years retiring in 1991. She was a member if Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. she enjoyed reading and cooking. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons, Charles Ray Meek and Paul Joe Meek both of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Meek and partner Joshua Hensley of Flagstaff, Arizona, Lindsey Benton and husband Eli of Abilene, and Leighanna Mostert and husband Kenny of Abilene; and a great granddaughter on the way, Bonnie Sue Mostert. Bennie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bailey and Bennie Stella Tolson.
