Bernard C. Brady Bernard C. Brady, 90, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with Father Bob Hedges officiating. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Bernard was born on November 1, 1920 in Temple, Texas to Bernard and Basha Brady. Bernard earned his B.A. in Architecture from Texas A&M in the class of '42 and served in the US Navy during WWII reaching the rank of Lieutenant. Bernard married Elvina Ake on June 6, 1964 in Houston, TX. He and Elvina were in the building business for over 20 years in Houston, Texas. Bernard was a man of great faith, loved his family, his pets and his life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, loving father and grandfather. Bernard is preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Jean Brown and a great-grandson Sgt. Frank Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Elvina Ake Brady of San Angelo; daughter, Shirley Gailey and husband, Leroy of San Angelo; son, Bernard A. Brady and wife, Susan of San Angelo; son, Jeffery Scott Brady of Terlingua; son-in-law, Roy Brown of Paint Rock; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
