BERNICE NEWBERRY

Bernice Newberry, 88, of San Angelo passed away Monday, January 15, 2007 in Granbury, Texas. Visitation will start at 6:00p.m. Thursday January 18, 2007 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Bob Stine of Crosspointe Baptist Church of West Des Moines, Iowa, officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Bernice was born December 13, 1918 in Tennyson, Texas to Rufus and Annie Myers. She married Winston Newberry in 1956. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church of San Angelo. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Winston Newberry and two daughters, Carolyn Yates and Sue Bingham. She is survived by two daughters; Liz Valis of San Angelo and Claylia Stine of The Woodlands, Texas; a son, Bob Lindley and his wife, Sylvia of Houston, 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, numerous other relatives, and many friends. Pallbearers will be Don Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Derek Brown, Ronnie Bingham, David Martin and Dennis Ashton.
