Bertha I. Landin, 79, of Ozona, Texas passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 in a local hospital. In hope to help others, Bertha willed her body, as an anatomical gift, to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Bertha was born February 18, 1928 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Juan and Isabel Ibarra. She was an avid Christian and member of Our Lake of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona, Texas. She selflessly helped as a cook and delivery for Meals for the Elderly and at Day Care in Ozona. Most of all Bertha gave her limitless time to her family and their individual needs. Her love and strength will be sorely missed by all that knew our Bertha. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Bertha is survived by her brothers Juan Ibarra of Abingdon, Virginia; Enrique Ibarra of Eagle Pass, Texas; sisters Maria Isabel Del Rio of Lewisville, Texas; Estella Cook and Sylvia Aguilar both of Corpus Christi, Texas and Esperanza Alejandro of Austin, Texas. The family extends a gracious thank you to the staff and Lisa Busbee RN of San Angelo Community Medical Center for the love and care given to Bertha.
