Betty S. Rossman Betty S. Rossman, 72, Of San Angelo passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her residence. Viewing will begin at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2012 with family will be present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Friday January 6, 2012 at Robert Massie Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Bumpus of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Betty was born December 1, 1939 to Bernard and Mada (James) Swensk in Brady, Texas. Betty was retired from GTE Southwest (now Verizon). She was a long time member of First Baptist Church, San Angelo where she taught third grade Sunday school for more than twenty years. She was a member of the Hope Class of The Adult Sunday School Department. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Fred of San Angelo; son Wade Rossman and wife Libby, granddaughters Jena, Erin and Stacy Rossman, and great grandson Dominic Tuscani, all of Tampa, Florida; and her sister and lifetime friend Nadine Mathis and husband Ken of San Angelo. The family wishes to give gratitude to Hospice of San Angelo for their loving care. Betty will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
