Bobby Lee Johnson

Bob "Preacher" Lee Johnson, 75, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1940 to Wilburn and Thelma (Campbell) Johnson in Springfield, MO. He received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana Baptist University. Bob served as a minister for 40 years, pastoring West Side Baptist Church for 28 of those years. On July 17, 1959 he married Alice Ann Kennedy in Delano, CA. He is preceded in death by parents, daughter, Judi Johnson and 3 brothers. Bob is survived by his loving spouse of 57 years, Alice Ann Johnson, daughters, Debra (Anthony) Edmund, Lisa (Shane) Taiclet, Julie (Todd) Rea all of San Angelo, son, Steven (Deidre) Johnson of Greenville, daughter, Rebecca (David) Coombs of Rogers, AR, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother, David (Wanda) Johnson, sisters, Judy (David) Tugman, Mary (Elick) Hancock, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Friday, July 29, 2016, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Rev. Steven Johnson, officiating. Memorials are suggested to www.alz.org/donate
