Bonna Jean (Swartz) Schneider October 25, 1927 to Nov 10, 2010 Bonna Jean (Swartz) Schneider, (83), of San Angelo, TX, and formerly of Berlin Heights, OH, widow of William G Schneider, passed away Nov. 9, 2010 in San Angelo TX, Born in Berlin Heights, OH, October 25, 1927, daughter of Howard and Martha Swartz, Bonna lived much of her life in Ohio, residing in Berlin Heights, Huron and Norwalk. She had also resided in Deming, NM, Nashville, TN, Las Cruces, NM, El Paso, TX and for the last 15 years San Angelo TX. She was married for 50 years to William G. Schneider, who passed away in 1995. A 1945 graduate of Berlin Heights High School, she was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church in Berlin Heights and most recently Lakeview Methodist Church in San Angelo. She was a member of Pythian Sisters State Temple 1, serving as Grand Chief of Ohio 1973-74. She loved crafts, and playing the piano and organ for church and other activities. She is survived by son Richard and wife, Sue Schneider, San Angelo; daughter Kathleen and husband, Richard Wickens, Sandusky, OH; daughter-in-law Patricia Schneider, Norwalk; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Robert wife, Barbara Schneider; sisters-in-law Vinie Swartz, Joanne and husband, Blake Hamer, Georgia Skiver (all from Ohio); nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by husband William, son Thomas, parents, and brother Howard. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 7:00pm Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Gene Schweizer officiating. A graveside service will be a 1:00pm Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, New Mexico. A memorial service will be 2:00pm Sunday November 21, 2010, at Lakeview United Methodist Church, South Street, Berlin Heights, Ohio. Memorials may be made to VistaCare Hospice or Senior Care Center (formerly Legend Oaks) in San Angelo, Texas.
