Brandon Garza

Brandon Garza, 16, of San Angelo passed away on Monday July 17, 2023.

Viewing will be from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Brandon Garza was born on October 6, 2006 in San Angelo to Brandie Garza and Randy Rivera. He attended Glenmore Elementary, Glenn Middle School, and was going to be a Junior at San Angelo Central High School. Brandon was a talented athlete and played any sport he could growing up. He was a center fielder for the San Angelo Central Bobcats and the Sendero Baseball Club in Abilene. Brandon was ambitious, respectful, helpful, considerate, and a jokester. He was selfless when younger kids would come up to him in the fields and ask him to play. Brandon will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a loving family including his mother, Brandie Garza and father, Randy Rivera both of San Angelo; two sisters, Amrey Rivera and Myla Jones both of San Angelo; his maternal grandparents, Albert and Delma Garza of San Angelo; paternal grandparents, Robert Rivera of San Angelo; maternal great-grandmother, Gloria Herrera and Joel Martinez of San Angelo; aunts and uncles, Lauren and Zadrian McGee of San Angelo, Victoria and Raven Martinez of San Angelo, Robert Rivera, Jr. and Joshua Rojero both of Midland; cousins, Zayvien McGee, Zoey, McGee, and Jeremiah Garza all of San Angelo; and numerous other family members.

The family would like to thank everyone, including his baseball family and friends.
