A come and go public viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 14th at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM. Please be aware that due to the current health crisis in our community and the directives given by State and Local Governments, we must abide by the directive limiting gatherings to 10 people at a time. Carisa Scaggs (TINK), 49, entered into the gates of Heaven on April 5, 2020, in San Angelo surrounded by her family. Carisa was born May 12, 1970, in Denver, Colorado to the late Lieutenant Scaggs and Bobbie Scaggs. She was educated in the Denver Public School System and worked at the transportation system in Denver. She later relocated to Hobbs, New Mexico and most recently to San Angelo. Carisa enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with God. She loved life and loved spending time with her family. Carisa never failed to affiliate with a church when she relocated. Her former churches are Rehoboth Temple of the Holy Spirit, Absolute Church, and New Jerusalem where she served as an elder. In addition to her father, Lieutenant, Carisa was preceded in death by her grandfathers, W.C. Lewis and Tenio Jones. Dee Scaggs and her grandmother, Mamie Jones. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffery Keith Sanders and Dreshon Terell Sanders;her mother, Bobbie Scaggs; five grandchildren; one sister, Lucette Boston and her husband Robert; three brothers, Cedric Scaggs, Patrick Mornes and Johnathan Scaggs; her grandmother, Louise Lewis; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
