Carlos T. Martinez, Sr.

Carlos T. Martinez Sr., 55, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 1, 1961 to Mariano and Edelmira (Talamantez) Martinez in San Angelo, TX. Carlos worked as an automotive mechanic for many years. Carlos liked to have fun and loved barbequing, fishing, camping and drag racing. Pallbearers will be sons, son in law, grandson and his brother. He was preceded in death by father, son, Brandon J. Martinez and sister, Delia Martinez. Carlos is survived by his spouse Thresa, mother, Edelmira Martinez, three daughters, Jessica R. (Jorge) Alvarado of Amarillo, Francesca M Martinez, Chelsie D. Martinez both of San Angelo; three sons, Carlos T. Martinez, Jr. of San Angelo, Tyrone L. Martinez of Laurel, MD, Ruben T. (Roseanne Montanez) Martinez of San Angelo; two brothers, Mariano Martinez, Jr. of Santé Fe, NM, Richard Martinez of Dallas; sister, Diane M. (Philip) Emerson of Veribest; and ten grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm Sunday at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral will be 10:00am Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Israel Flores, Bethel Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will take place at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
