Carmen Navarro Perez

Carmen Navarro Perez, 69, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, in San Angelo. Public Viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Perez was born October 1, 1950, in San Angelo where she has been a lifelong resident. Carmen was a nurse's aide for Arbor Terrace Nursing Home retiring in 1985. She was a Catholic. Carmen was a very strong woman who prayed and was there for her family. Survivors include her two sons, Mario Navarro and Albert Navarro Perez both of San Angelo; three sisters, Dolores Veliz, Alice Calderon, and Ignacia Arteaga all of San Angelo; two brothers, Preston Navarro, Jr. and Juan Navarro both of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Monica, Ashley both of San Angelo and Luis of San Antonio; six great grandchildren; and a special niece Norma Navarro Garcia of San Angelo. Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, Preston, Sr. and Leonor Flores Navarro; a brother, Miguel Navarro; a son, Reynaldo Perez; three sisters, Albina Melendez, Elvira Garcia, and Catarina Ortiz; and a granddaughter, Mercedes Navarro.
