Celeste Walraven

Celeste Walraven, 71, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in Bedford. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 2, 2018 at Fairmount Cemetery with the Rev. Ben G. Hubert, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Celeste was born September 14, 1946 in San Angelo to Alvin J Walraven and Gwendolyn Bratcher Walraven. She was a 1964 graduate of San Angelo Central High School and she received her BA from North Texas State University. Celeste has been a resident of Grapevine for many years moving from San Angelo. She worked for GTE and Verizon. Survivors include a brother, Kelly Walraven and wife Elda of Bastrop; sisters, Karen Hudson and Danny Glenn of San Angelo and Beth Hall and husband Skip of McQueeney; Celeste is also survived by nephew, Randy Hall, niece, Dawn Hudson Hooper and husband Mike, and niece, Staci Walraven, and nephew, David Walraven; and also survived by great nephew, Ty Hooper, and great nieces, Madi Hooper and Remi Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials be made to a favorite charity.
