Charlie Rodriquez Asebedo, 55, of San Angelo, passed away on September 17, 2016 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Charlie was born on September 4, 1961 to Manuel and Inosencia (Rodriquez) Asebedo in San Angelo. On December 9, 1994, he married Traci Copeland in San Angelo. Charlie worked as an event coordinator for the City of San Angelo. He was a very competitive golfer and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends and family on road trips. Charlie was an avid griller and found great pleasure being by the grill. He enjoyed all the great memories made with friends. Above all else, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by parents, Manuel and Inosencia "Ginger" Asebedo, sister, Nellie Burkette, brothers, Candy Asebedo and Manuel Asebedo, Jr. Charlie is survived by his loving spouse of 21 years, Traci, two sons, Jason and Adam; four daughters, Amber, Ginger, Samantha and Emily, sister, Mary Lou Ortegon and brother, George all of San Angelo; six grandchildren; Daniel, Gabriel, Yvette, Faith, Jayden and Hal along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, 10:00 am at the McNease Convention Center under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Robert Prieto and his staff.
