Charlotte Dana

Charlotte A. Dana, 85 of San Angelo passed away peacefully on Thursday May 29, 2013 at an area care center. Viewing will be 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday June 1, 2013 at Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo. Graveside services will be 3:00pm Saturday June 1, 2013 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ellen King, officiating. Arrangements are with Robert Massie Funeral Home. Charlotte was born December 8, 1927 in Sweetwater to George Leo and Martha Lou (Byars) Abbott. She graduated from Sweetwater High School. She came to San Angelo to work for GTE. She married Edward Dana in 1950. She was a homemaker during her children's young years. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother in law; Glenda Lou Alley and her husband, A. C. Alley. Survivors include her daughter; Grace Dana of Midland, son; Milton E. Dana and wife, Ergea of Kuwait, a sister; Wilda Jo Abbott of San Angelo, two granddaughters; Danita Dana of Lubbock and Margo Hoos and husband, Phillip of Littleton, CO.
