Christina Ramirez Carrasco, 78, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carrasco was born July 24, 1946 in San Angelo to David and Guadalupe Ramirez. Christina has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant from 1968-1969. She worked at Nathan's Jewelry, and at Goodfellow Airforce Base. Christina loved shopping, dancing, listening to music, dressing up, playing Pac-Man, and making memories with family members. Her favorite color was Orange but loved bright happy colors. Christina was a loving and caring person who brought joy and happiness to those around her. Christina was someone who those around her could turn to during their hardships.
Survivors include her husband, Raul Hernandez; a son, Hector Ramirez; five daughters, Brenda Perales and husband Gerardo, Frances Martinez, Carol Gomez, Ramona Martinez and Michelle Carrasco and husband Manuel Moncibais, Jr.; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Christina's pallbearers will be Manuel Moncibais, Jr., Gerardo Perales Sr., Marcos Chapa, Michael Moncibais, Christopher Garcia, and Brandon Perales, and honorary pallbearers are Manuel Moncibais, III and Lillian Moncibais.
The family would like to thank the staff at High Plains Senior Care Hospice for their loving care.
