CLARA RANSOM DOBSON

Clara 'œBoog'� Ransom Dobson passed away the morning of June 26th. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning, at Fairmount Cemetery, and will be handled by Robert Massie Funeral Home. 'œBoog'� was born to Jack and Mallie Ransom, April 10, 1928, at St. John's Hospital. She graduated from San Angelo High School in 1945. She attended Pueblo University in Mexico City, and the University of Texas. She married Fred Dobson on November 15, 1947, at First Presbyterian Church in San Angelo. They lived at Vick, Texas, for fifty-five years before moving to San Angelo. They had two children, Dempster and Weezie. 'œBoog'� traveled extensively, and enjoyed every trip. She was a member of DAR, Aggie Mom's Club, and was a past board member of the Fairmount Cemetery. She was a long-time volunteer at Angelo Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack M. Ransom. She is survived by her husband Fred; daughter and son-in-law Burt and Louise Lathram and son and daughter-in-law Dempster and Lesley Ann Dobson. Also surviving are grandchildren; Zachery and Susan Dobson and their son Taylor, and Katherine Dobson, as well as her Ozona aunt and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a memorial to your favorite charity.
