Clarence Leonard "Andy" Anderson, 94, of San Angelo, passed away on September 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his caring and loving family. Andy married Gloria Rodriguez on November 27, 1951 in El Paso. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Andy was born on March 11, 1922 to Walton and Cynthia (Vipperman) Anderson in Mexia. Andy served in the Army AirCorp and the U.S. Air Force where he fought in WWII, Korean Conflict along with 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. Early in NCOIC TSgt Clarence L. Anderson's military career one of his duties was to man the Mars Station Communications Building at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Airforce in 1971. Upon retirement worked for B & W Stores, True Value Home Hardware and Samuels Hardware. He was preceded in death by father, Walton Raymond Anderson, mother, Cynthia Anderson, and daughter, Leslie Shay Anderson. Clarence is survived by his loving spouse of 64 years; Gloria, four daughters, Juanita (David) Ortloff of Indio, CA, Irene (Johnny) Ramos of Kermit, TX, Gloria (Michael) Dawkins of Kermit, TX, January (Noel) Saldivar of San Angelo, TX; two sons, Mike Anderson of San Angelo, TX, Jerry B. (Jessica) Anderson of Deridder, LA., eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
