CLAUDEEN COPE

Claudeen Cope, 79 of San Angelo went to be with the Lord, Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008. Family visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday March 25, 2008 at the Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday March 26, 2008 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dan Glasscock, pastor of Cowboy Church of Christoval, officiating. Claudeen was born June 11, 1928 in Stanton to Mr. and Mrs. George and Rachel Manuel. The family moved back to Christoval soon after her birth. Claudeen loved to run the river and to sun herself on her rock on the river bank. Claudeen married Wendell Cope in 1963 here in San Angelo and helped to start Cope Construction. She also helped out on their ranch in Bronte. She was a member of Harris Ave. Baptist Church, where her father was a deacon. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell and one grandchild, Tony Mason She is survived by her son; Billy McClatchy and his wife, Lottie of San Antonio, Two daughters; Bobbie McClatchy Mason and her husband, Robert of Red Oak, TX. and Linda White of San Angelo; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grandchildren: Randy Mason, Scott Mc Clatchy, Claudia Mason, Derek Mason, Michael Davis, Daniel Davis, and Michelle Gallagher.
