Bobbie was born on March 25, 1922 to R. B. and Madie (Gaston) Allen in Silver, Texas. She attended school at Silver and graduated from Miles High School. She attended San Angelo Junior College. She married Jerroll Sanders on June 26, 1945 in San Angelo. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Eldorado where she taught Sunday school and worked as church secretary. She was especially proud of having helped the church obtain a historical marker. Upon moving to San Angelo, she joined Southland Baptist Church. During her career, Cleone was employed by several auto dealerships, the Schleicher County Sheriff/Tax Assessor and later was the business manager for the Schleicher County Hospital. She and Jerroll owned and operated the El Dorado Restaurant for several years. She was active in civic affairs having served on the Eldorado City Council and the Schleicher County Hospital Board. She held several offices in the Eldorado Woman's Club. After moving to San Angelo, she served as a volunteer at the Visitor's Center, Angelo Community Hospital, Adult Day Care, Meal's for the Elderly and the Water Valley Elementary Library. She truly loved participating in the Junk Yard Band at Rio Concho West and was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Susan Ray Sanders; brothers, Durward, Charles, "Bud", R. B., and William "Bill" Allen and her sisters; Thelma Odom, Ruthelle Clegg, Lucille Fultz, Adeline Allen, Esther Jones and a son in law, Rickey White. Survivors include; three daughters, Jane (Charles) Allcorn of Winters, Kay White of Water Valley, Lynn (Steve) Crawford of Houston; sister, Nita (Bill) Archer of San Angelo and sister in law, Wilma Allen of Abilene; grandchildren are Allison (Danny) Randolph, Ashley (Wesley) Glass, Kari (Matthew) Berry, Corbett (Lydia) White, Stephen (Lauren) Crawford, Chase (Carol) Crawford, Courtney and Caley Crawford; great-grandchildren are Reagan, Rylee and Reese Randolph, Peighton and Carter Glass, Meredith Berry, Cooper, Adeline and Harper White, Camille and Claire Crawford and soon to be great granddaughter, Landen Crawford; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobbie was a wonderful, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
