Clifford D Watson, 68, of San Angelo passed away on December 11, 2023.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with pastor Kevin McSpadden, officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Memorial Park under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Watson was born on August 27, 1955 in Big Lake to Edward and Joyce Watson. D graduated from Reagan County High School and was a graduate of Angelo State University with a degree in business finance. He married Carrie Stewart in 1981 in San Angelo. D worked at the YMCA for 10 years in maintenance. He was the owner/operator of DEK services and retired in 2021 after being in business for 20 years. D enjoyed fishing, drinking whiskey, and his animal. His favorite things in life were puppy dog breath, tomatoes, and laughter. D was a member of the San Angelo Elks Lodge #1880 for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Watson of the home; two stepchildren, Ray Baldwin and wife Kandyce of San Angelo and Angela Romo of Midlothian; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
