Clinton Andrew Harris, 91, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Plano. A private interment service will be next to his parents at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Harris was born in Fort Worth, December 17, 1927 to Loyce Jefferson and Winnie Davis (Hassell) Harris. Clint moved with his parents to San Angelo in the early 1940's. In 1945, he enlisted in the US Navy and served in the Pacific. Clint returned to San Angelo after his discharge from the Navy where he began his lifelong career as a Jeweler. He began his career as an apprentice with Holland's Jewelry. Clint then worked with Nathan's Jewelry. He married Zora Azelle Duffy on January 31, 1948 in San Angelo. Two children were born, Teressa Jean and Tommy Clint. Clint moved the family to Dallas in 1963 where he was employed with Evert's Jewelry. In the early seventies, he went into business for himself, opening Clint's Jewelry in downtown Dallas. He relocated his business to Corsicana in 1978, where he successfully operated Clint's Jewelry. While in Corsicana, Clint renovated an old farmhouse, raised horses and registered Brangus cattle under the brand of C-Bar-H. He loved his horses and told many stories of growing up with them. Clint reluctantly retired at the age of 87 years old. He was known to many as "Mr. Clint" and was an outgoing cheerful soul who enjoyed helping people. Survivors include his son, Tommy Harris and wife Laura; one granddaughter, Stephanie Ballard and husband John; a great grandson, Dylan Ballard; and a son-in-law, Roscoe Turner. Clint was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Joseph Grant and Bill Don; three sisters, Marguerite, Irene, & Lucille, his first wife, Azelle Harris, his second wife Merlene Smith, and his daughter, Teressa Jean Harris Turner.
