Concepcion "Conchita" Ramirez Ibarra, 94, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Friday February 7, 2020. Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Tuesday February 11, 2020, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Anthony Bala, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Conchita was born October 24, 1925, in Agua Blanca, Mexico. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 1964. Conchita married Catarino Lora Ibarra in 1950. She was a housewife. Conchita was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, plants, flowers, fishing, crochet and cooking. She will be remembered as a kind, soft spoken, genuine loving lady who had unconditional love for her family and especially her grandchildren who affectionally called her "Granny". Conchita will remain the heart of the family. Survivors include her beloved husband, Catarino; two daughters, Irma Gonzales and husband Emilio of San Angelo and Lily Valdez of Pflugerville; her son, Luis Ibarra Sr. and his wife Norma of San Angelo; two sisters, Maria Ramirez and Carmela Hernandez both of Mexico; five grandchildren, Liza, Luis Jr., Amanda, Monica and Ian; six great grandchildren , Esperanza, Kylie, Isaiah, Isabella, Andres and AJ; and one great-great grandchild, Nova. Conchita was proceeded in death by her parents, Juan Pablo and Reymunda Ramirez; a son-in-law, Freddie Valdez; three brothers, Primo, Gregorio and Modesto; and two sisters, Angela and Altagracia. Pallbearers are Luis Ibarra Jr., Ian Canava, Eddie Garza Jr., Lazaro Garcia, Enrique Cura Sr., and Ricky Cura. The family would like to thank the staff at Shannon Medical Center Oncology Department. Dr. Raj Cheruku. Dr. Norma Cerna, for all their support and care over the years.
