CONNIE MONTEMAYOR SAMARRIPA

Connie Montemayor Samarripa, 91, formerly of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in Edmond, OK. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Robert Cuellar with the Primera Iglesia officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Connie was born March 14, 1915 in Sabinas Hidalgo, Mexico to Mateo and Arcadia Montemayor. She was a very caring and loving Mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all. Connie was always wanting to help other people and volunteered for many years with the Salvation Army, San Angelo Day Nursery, RSVP and other Senior Citizen Organizations before residing in Oklahoma. Connie was a member of the Primera Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Samarripa and son Milo Samarripa. She is survived by her daughter Elva Lopez and husband Eliberto "Al" ; Five grandchildren: Connie Smith and husband, Mark; Sammie Kimmel and husband, Steve; Deidra Castro and husband, John; Eliberto Lopez Jr and wife, Sylvia; Ethan Lopez and wife, Amilee; five great-grandchildren Brianna, Nathan, Andrea, Elin, And Kailee. Pallbearers will be Ethan Lopez, John Castro, Arthur Elkins, Oliver Montemayor, Ruben Montemayor, and Leroy Montemayor. The family would like to thank the Good Shepherd Hospice nurses and staff Erica, Carolyn, Jerry, Liz, and Nancy.
