"Connie" Minzenmayer, age 92 of San Agelo died September 15, 2021 in San Angelo.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Charles Greenwell officiating. Please wear a mask in the church. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
"Connie" Minzenmayer was born Constance Lillian Candelari February 25, 1929 in Houston. She loved her childhood and teenaged years growing up on Oates Prairie surrounded by her large extended family and lifelong friends. She had stories innumerable!
She was an incredible homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Connie never met a stranger, and her infectious smile drew everyone to her. She loved dancing, playing cards and dominos, cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, decorating her homes, and hosting events. She loved to travel and was involved in many clubs and charitable organizations throughout the years. Her Catholic faith was important to her from a young age and her membership with Holy Angels Catholic Church began in the 1960s.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Smith and husband Jesse and Sarah Wagnor and husband Cliff of San Angelo; three sons, Bill Daniel and wife Carol of Shiner, Guy Daniel and wife Lesha of Katy, and Larry Daniel and wife Kristen of Price, Utah; 32 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; two special sisters, Jeanette Rice of Grapeland and Shelia Donley and husband Rick of Houston. Connie was preceded in death by David Spates, Earl Daniel, Joe Demarest, and Herb Minzenmayer; and by a daughter, Barbara Hanger; and a son David Daniel.
